Every account must confirm its email address before reaching the dashboard. Unverified sessions are signed out automatically, which keeps throwaway and impersonation accounts out of the community.
You can only review someone after a completed engagement between you — a finished service request or a completed gig application. This rule is enforced on our servers, so star ratings reflect genuine collaborations, not drive-by reviews.
From any profile or message thread you can block a user or report content. Blocked users disappear from your inbox, and reports go straight to our moderation queue for review.
Public profiles never expose your email or phone number. Gmail Auto-Tracker is fully opt-in, read-only, and never sold, shared with recruiters, or shown on your profile — and you can disconnect it at any time.
Your trust is our most valuable asset. When you use Nexora to find opportunities and build your profile, you need absolute certainty that the data is accurate and your information is secure.
Verified Opportunities
We hate spam, ghost listings, and predatory internships as much as you do. That's why every single listing on Nexora goes through a rigorous curation process:
- Manual Review: Our team verifies the identity of the organizing body for every hackathon and competition.
- Quality Thresholds: We do not allow unpaid internships or "exposure-only" gigs on the platform. If it's on Nexora, it's worth your time.
- Real-time Expiry: Deadlines are hard-coded. You will never see an opportunity that closed two weeks ago.
Protecting Your Data
Your builder profile contains your resume, your GitHub, and your contact information. We treat it like a vault.
- Zero Selling: We do not sell your personal data to third-party recruiters without your explicit, opt-in consent for specific talent matching programs.
- End-to-End Security: Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard protocols.
- Granular Privacy: You control what is public. Want to hide your email on your public profile but show your projects? It's a single toggle in your dashboard.
Gmail Auto Tracker Controls
Auto Tracker is optional and exists only to help students keep their private application pipeline updated. When enabled, Nexora looks for Gmail signals related to applications, registrations, interviews, deadlines, and outcomes. Users can choose signal types, review detected items, change statuses, delete items from the pipeline, and disable or disconnect Auto Tracker anytime.
Gmail data is not sold, not used for advertising, not shared with organizers or recruiters, and not made public on a profile unless the user manually adds information themselves.
Verifiable Proof
When you win a hackathon listed on Nexora, we issue cryptographic proof of your victory directly to your profile. No one can fake a Nexora credential.
