How listings are checked
Nexora does not write listings — it aggregates them from 14 platforms. Two different things happen depending on where a listing comes from:
- Aggregated listings go through an automated gate on every daily run. A listing is dropped unless it has a title and a valid
httpsofficial URL; the pipeline also filters non-English entries, strips full-time job posts that leak into internship feeds, and deduplicates across sources so the same hackathon does not appear three times. Each run replaces the previous batch, which is why you don't see last month's deadlines. - Manually submitted listings — an organiser posting their own event — are held for human review before they go live, and are never touched by the automated refresh.
- Provenance is kept either way. Every listing shows which platform it came from and links to the official page, so you can check the source yourself and always apply there rather than here.
Protecting your data
Your builder profile carries your projects, your GitHub and your contact details. The rules around it:
- No selling: your personal data is not sold to third-party recruiters.
- Encrypted in transit and at rest: the platform runs on Google Cloud, and data is encrypted with industry-standard protocols on both legs.
- Granular privacy: you control what is public. Hide your email on your public profile but show your projects — it's a toggle in settings.
- Deletion is self-service: you can remove your account and its data yourself, whenever you want. See account deletion.
Gmail Auto Tracker controls
Auto Tracker is optional and exists only to keep your private application pipeline updated. When enabled, Nexora looks for Gmail signals related to applications, registrations, interviews, deadlines and outcomes. You can choose signal types, review detected items, change statuses, delete items from the pipeline, and disable or disconnect Auto Tracker at any time.
Gmail data is not sold, not used for advertising, not shared with organisers or recruiters, and never made public on a profile unless you add the information yourself. Access is read-only: Nexora cannot send, reply to or delete mail. See how it works and the privacy policy.
Proof you can check
A Nexora profile is built to be verifiable by inspection rather than by assertion. Projects carry live links and repositories, GitHub can be connected so the work is attributable, and freelance reviews can only be written by someone you actually completed work with.
What that means in practice: nothing on a profile asks you to take Nexora's word for it. Anyone reading it can open the deployment, read the code, or check who left the review.
